The LSESU Machine Learning Society (ML@LSE) aims to increase the LSE community’s general understanding of machine learning techniques, its potential applications and implications for society. We also strive to collaborate with technical students to work on solving interesting problems with machine learning methods.

Activities

Bootcamps:

We aim to provide an accessible and inclusive introduction to Machine Learning through lectures and hands-on Pythoncoding. We will cover a range of concepts, from Regression to Neural Networks. Don’t worry - No prior programming knowledge is necessary. All materials are also available online

Projects:

Work with a team of motivated students to design Machine Learning solutions for industry projects and research projects. For 2018-2019, members received industry mentorship programme with Datatonic, and ultimately presented at LSE SEDS 2019

Events:

We have invited a wide range of speakers in the past, from industry and academia to discuss key topics in Machine Learning. Previous talks have featured speakers from Blackrock, KPMG, and the House of Lords. You can stay up to date with our events on our Facebook
